Clarizen software is now faster, more secure, and even easier to use
SAN MATEO, Calif. – May 21, 2012 – Clarizen, a leading project execution software company, announced today that it has released version 5.4 of its breakthrough project management platform incorporating new features designed to further enhance collaboration between project managers and their teams. With many of these new features stemming from user feedback, the newest collaboration elements continue to expand on the themes of increased customization and permission enhancements as well as overall performance improvements.
As part of its version 5.4, organizations gain greater flexibility to define permissions and can control the information and tasks each team member can view and access. This feature also incorporates an “Enhanced Permission” mode where managers can decide by project which items should be private.
This latest version also enhances the amount and type of information shared with individuals through real-time snapshot reports. Additional information can also be quickly viewed through a “My New Items” panel that integrates current tasks and assignments into the Clarizen homepage. For both of these elements, users can drill down as necessary and customize the real-time information displayed in order to only receive the most pertinent information up-front.
Building on Clarizen’s philosophy of ‘robust simplicity,’ the company has also incorporated in-application instruction that can help new users get productive more quickly, simply by clicking ‘Show me How.’
“We believe this latest version puts Clarizen in the position to meet the evolving needs of our current users as well as the expectations of future project teams by offering consistent and strategic software developments and innovation,” said Rachel Hadas, VP of Product for Clarizen. “Our top priority is to create a solution that seamlessly integrates the work pipeline, where project teams can easily adapt their work styles to fit the software and not the other way around.”
This latest release builds on Clarizen’s history of innovation – consistently enhancing Clarizen software to address the needs of today’s project teams. In April, the company launched a series of mobile applications for both the Android and iOS operating systems. These on-the-go platforms help business leaders manage their work from virtually anywhere. This announcement was accompanied by the launch of Clarizen Anywhere, a browser-based toolbar integrated with Outlook, offering real-time access to projects without logging into the Clarizen solution.
