Chalamish to Lead Company’s Next Phase of Growth, Continuing Collaborative Work Management Momentum

SAN MATEO, Calif. – February 8, 2016 – Clarizen, a global leader in collaborative work management software, today announced that it has appointed Boaz Chalamish as its new chief executive officer. Chalamish, a 25-year technology industry veteran formerly of VMware and Mercury Interactive, will build upon Clarizen’s industry-recognized product vision and steady growth, most recently reflected in a 45 percent year-over-year growth in total bookings in 2015.

Chalamish held executive positions at VMware, where he led the company’s cloud management and end-user computing business. Previously, Chalamish was senior vice president of research and development at HP Software, following the Mercury Interactive acquisition for $4.5 billion. As senior vice president and general manager at Mercury Interactive, he was instrumental in creating the business technology optimization category and growing the company from zero to $1 billion in annual sales.

The CEO search process was led by Nowogrodski and board members. Nowogrodski will remain on Clarizen’s board and will assist during the transition, before moving on to new opportunities.
