Clarizen is a leading provider of cloud based work collaboration management software (SaaS). We are in a rapid growth phase and looking for diligent individuals who want to build a career in technology sales. We are looking for candidates who enjoy a fast paced environment, open to learning new technologies and bring enthusiasm and fun to their job. This position is for a Sales Development Representative within our New Business unit – Eagle product, a group working on a new and innovative product.

Location: San Mateo, CA 

The Role

The primary purpose of the Inside Sales Development Representative is to properly qualify inbound leads and develop outbound leads:

  • Work with dozens of new prospects daily on assessing their business needs for and conveying Clarizen’s Eagle value proposition
  • Working with email apps for outbound outreach to prospects
  • Place outbound calls in an effort to uncover new sales opportunities

Work Experience

  • Experience in cold calling, sales or outbound Marketing
  • Ability to qualify prospects over the phone
  • Experience with high volume calling
  • Advantage: experience with Salesforce.com CRM

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant sales or marketing experience
  • Ambitious, self-starter, with the ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Capable and willing to function according to measurable objectives
  • Ability to listen well, communicate and qualify prospects effectively, over the phone and talking to all levels of organization
  • Excellent written communication skills
