Clarizen is seeking a self-motivated, high-energy Marketing Operations Manager. This is a team-oriented position that has strong potential for growth. We are looking for an individual who enjoys a high-paced environment, with multiple responsibilities and brings enthusiasm to their job. This position will provide ongoing support to global marketing teams and is responsible for marketing technology, reporting and analytics, process-building, project execution, budget tracking and marketing database management.

This is a hands-on role that requires technical proficiency with a solid understanding of marketing systems, processes and a strong interest in marketing analytics. The Marketing Operations Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Global Marketing.

 Location: San Mateo, CA 

You will

  • Own and manage the marketing technology stack, including Marketo, Google Analytics, SFDC, GoToWebinar, Zapier, etc.

  • Use Marketo to build and execute campaigns – activities include but not limited to, webinars, surveys, landing pages, form creation, and nurture programs.

  • Database management including data acquisition, list segmentation, lead scoring, data cleanliness and integrity within Salesforce and Marketo

  • Help define and maintain existing marketing automation processes, procedures, SLA’s, programs, and workflows

  • Work with business operations to analyze data related to opportunity conversions, accuracy of opportunity stages/probability, marketing stages, and campaign performance/effectiveness

  • Coordinate with sales operations to ensure team and structural alignment around sales and marketing processes and reporting

  • Create new email and landing page templates to increase engagement and conversion rates

  • Constantly evaluate opportunities to leverage additional technology, data and service providers to improve our marketing processes

  • Analyze and report campaign results, build and update KPI’s, and make strategic recommendations based on data

  • Troubleshoot and QA campaigns, workflows, data issues, and other key marketing operations functions.

  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring vendor agreements and invoices are logged every month

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of high-tech experience, ideally at SaaS or B2B companies

  • 2+ years in a marketing operations, sales operations, or analytics role

  • Exceptional hands-on, in-depth experience working with Marketo and Salesforce

  • Working proficiency with HTML and CSS for emails and landing pages (Javascript + jQuery a plus)

  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Klipfolio or Tableau

  • Ability to perform under pressure and cope with tight deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills with precise attention to detail

  • Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced, fun environment

  • Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Microsoft Excel ninja

  • B.S. degree – technical degree preferred but not required
