New Features in Clarizen 4.5
Clarizen 4.5 expands with 3rd party integrations with Google Docs and your own calendar application. Moreover, we have added new functionality such as baseline support, new budget indicators, the ability to move items between projects and a much improved resource load. Last but not least, Clarizen 4.5 introduces many enhancements to issue management, formatting, search, etc.
Google Docs
With the new Google Docs integration Clarizen has taken yet another step towards full team collaboration. In V4.5 you will be able to link existing Google docs or create new documents and easily manage your sharing with the rest of your team through Clarizen.
iCalendar Subscriptions
The new Internet Calendar integration will give you and your team instant visibility of work items directly in Outlook or similar calendar. You will have the ability to see your tasks, tasks of your team, or subscribe to specific projects of interest.
Project Baseline
By comparing the baseline plan with the current plan you are able to monitor the health of your projects and the effectiveness of your planning.
Enhanced Resource Load
The enhanced resource load screen gives you the ability to perform capacity planning across time scales and foresee future loads on your resources.
Budget Indicators
The new budget indicators can alert financial users to work items that are on track, at risk or off track in terms of budgeting.
Move Items between Projects
With just a simple click you will now be able to move a work item between different projects or alternatively, copy/paste several work items between projects.
Enhancements to Issues
Enable changing the type of issue, support custom views and allow better formatting in Clarizen and in email notifications.
New Search Functionality
We’ve added the ability to instantly search all textual fields across most of data grids and immediately display the desired results.
Tweaks to Today Panel
The new Today Panel will allow you to see not only tasks and issues assigned to you, but those that belong to your managed resources as well.
Personalized Email Signature
Clarizen now allows for the automatic addition of a personal email signatures to all manually created emails within the system.
Additional Work Item Fields
New fields were added to the project properties card to support business case analysis; work item fields to enhance deliverables management; reviewer roles to identify major project stakeholders.
Clarizen Zendesk Widget Tutorial
With the new Clarizen Zendesk widget users will be able to automatically create Issues within Clarizen directly from their Zendesk account.
