Roadmap
Version 4.8 extends Clarizen’s Roadmap View, by making it completely interactive allowing you to drag and drop work items, and collaborate on work items by adding notes and discussions. For added visibility within the organization, you can take Clarizen’s new roadmap widget and embed it on your company’s intranet so it can be referenced by all.
Resource Load Simulation
The new resource load simulation allows you to perform what-if-simulation on resource assignments and see the effects to the capacity of a resource if they were to be assigned to a specific work item. This new feature works alongside the enhanced personal calendars to give you real-time view of your teams capacity load.
Personal Calendars
Personal Calendars allow you to define work, holiday and vacation days which will be reflected in the resource load from within the project. You can also define specific calendars per project which can override more general calendars.
Recurring Tasks
Clarizen’s recurring tasks feature will make it easier for you to handle repetitive tasks or maintenance work that come up in your projects, such as weekly status meetings or other tasks that occur repeatedly.
Request Management
V4.8 has expanded the scope of Change Management to now include Request Management. This will allow you to manage new requests, change requests and ideas from within the Clarizen platform allowing you to score and prioritize the requests for more targeted Project and Portfolio Management.
Executable Work Items
Clarizen V4.8 includes a new classification for work items that indicates when a work item is ready to be worked on. Work items are considered to be executable if they are active and all predecessors of the task have been completed.
