Avinoam Nowogrodski
Co-Founder and CEO
Avinoam Nowogrodski brings over 20 years of experience in sales, engineering and business management to Clarizen. He brings insight and expertise gained in those positions to Clarizen's vision of bringing collaborative project management to every business.
Prior to establishing Clarizen, Avinoam co-founded SmarTeam Corporation, a leading provider of collaborative product life cycle management (PLM) solutions. As CEO from 1995 – 2005, Avinoam's leadership molded SmarTeam into a leading enterprise PLM solution which was sold and supported by IBM. In 1999 SmarTeam was acquired by Dassault Systemes (DS) and Avinoam served on the DS General Executive Management team for 6 years. At his departure from the company, SmarTeam had 3,500 customers across diverse industries and over 100,000 users worldwide.
Avinoam Nowogrodski holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Tanya Epstein
Co-Founder and EVP R&D
Tanya Epstein brings over 30 years of experience in Research and Development to her current role leading the design and development of the Clarizen solution. From her long industry experience is borne the foundation for Clarizen's dynamic, highly collaborative approach to project management.
Previously Tanya was Executive Vice President, Engineering at SmarTeam Corporation. As chief architect of SmarTeam’s Product Lifecycle Management solution, Epstein managed the R&D team from 1996 until 2005. During that time she led product definition and support, quality assurance, training, customer care and IT. Epstein also helped expand SmarTeam’s offering to include integrations with leading CAD and ERP systems, real-time remote access and migration to the .NET platform.
Tanya Epstein holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of St. Petersburg, Russia.
Guy Shani
Vice President, Sales
Guy Shani is responsible for Clarizen's global sales including channel development and strategic partnerships. Guy brings over 10 years of experience in sales, engineering and business development to Clarizen.
Guy joined Clarizen from Eurotech Technology Inc where he served as CEO. Prior to Eurotech, Guy spent over 7 years at SmarTeam Inc, Dassault Systmes (DASTY) company, where he held several positions, including technical manager of Asia Pacific and Director of Sales and Business Development in the US and South America. Before joining SmarTeam Guy worked as project manager at Elbit Ltd. Israel.
Guy holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Management Engineering.
Eran Aloni
Vice President, Product Marketing
Eran Aloni is responsible for product specification and ensuring that Clarizen's solutions fit market requirements. He also directs Clarizen’s marketing programs.
Eran joined Clarizen from Blue Security, where he was Director of Marketing. In a short period of time, Aloni successfully created strong brand awareness, significant media coverage and recruited a large, active and dedicated community of consumers, enabling the company to fully deploy its anti-spam solution.
Prior to Blue Security, Eran was a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft Labs in Israel. Before joining Microsoft he spent over five years at Comverse, where he held several senior positions, including an Associate Vice President managing the company’s Handset Clients Division.
Eran Aloni holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.
Sharon Vardi
Vice President, Managed Services
Sharon is responsible for Clarizens' production infrastructure, hosting operations, and overall security of the companys' service. Sharon brings over 15 years of experience in managing IT organizations in the high technology sector.
Prior to joining Clarizen, Sharon held several managerial positions including, CIO/CTO of Ernst & Young in Israel, Director of IT at Emblaze, Director of IT at SmarTeam and Global IT Director at Attunity.
Sharon has vast experience in the design, implementation and support of complex service oriented IT architectures. Sharon holds a LLB degree in Law.
