Avinoam Nowogrodski
Co-Founder and CEO

Avinoam Nowogrodski brings over 20 years of experience in sales, engineering and business management to Clarizen. He brings insight and expertise gained in those positions to Clarizen's vision of bringing collaborative project management to every business.

Prior to establishing Clarizen, Avinoam co-founded SmarTeam Corporation, a leading provider of collaborative product life cycle management (PLM) solutions.  As CEO from 1995 – 2005, Avinoam's leadership molded SmarTeam into a leading enterprise PLM solution which was sold and supported by IBM. In 1999 SmarTeam was acquired by Dassault Systemes (DS) and Avinoam served on the DS General Executive Management team for 6 years. At his departure from the company, SmarTeam had 3,500 customers across diverse industries and over 100,000 users worldwide. 

Avinoam Nowogrodski holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Rachel Haim Hadas
VP Product

Rachel has been with Clarizen from its first days working on product definition and the setup of the company's EMEA sales operation.

Rachel has 15 years of experience in the software industry dealing mostly with product management and customer success programs. Previous to joining Clarizen, Rachel led the Customer Success initiative at SmarTeam as Director of Customer Success and later on the product team as Director of Product Management. During her time at SmarTeam, Rachel managed several key customer accounts some of which were: Acer, Siemens and Bosch.
Rachel holds a BSC in Computer Sciences and is also certified PMP.

Erez Freibach
CFO

Erez Freibach brings to Clarizen over 15 years of executive management experience in the Hi-Tech industry.

Before joining Clarizen, Freibach served as CFO& COO at OzVision Incs, active in the area of video services platforms for security and Telco providers. Prioir to OzVision, Freibach was CFO & VP of Program management at Atrica Inc, which develops and manufacturers optical Ethernet solutions and was recently acquired by Nokia Siemens. Earlier in his career, Freibach held leadership roles in finance departments of several multi-national companies including 3Com’s NiceCom Division and Indigo, a NASDAQ publicly traded company. Freibach’s previous leadership roles have also included active management of Operations, IT, HR and program management.

Freibach holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Guy Shani
Vice President, Sales

Guy Shani is responsible for Clarizen's global sales including channel development and strategic partnerships.  Guy brings over 10 years of experience in sales, engineering and business development to Clarizen.

Guy joined Clarizen from Eurotech Technology Inc where he served as CEO. Prior to Eurotech, Guy spent over 7 years at SmarTeam Inc, Dassault Systmes (DASTY) company, where he held several positions, including technical manager of Asia Pacific and Director of Sales and Business Development in the US and South America. Before joining SmarTeam Guy worked as project manager at Elbit Ltd. Israel.

Guy holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Management Engineering. 

Sharon Vardi
Vice President, Marketing

Sharon is responsible for Clarizens' production infrastructure, hosting operations, and overall security of the companys' service. Sharon brings over 15 years of experience in managing IT organizations in the high technology sector.

Prior to joining Clarizen, Sharon held several managerial positions including, CIO/CTO of Ernst & Young in Israel, Director of IT at Emblaze, Director of IT at SmarTeam and Global IT Director at Attunity.

Sharon has vast experience in the design, implementation and support of complex service oriented IT architectures. Sharon holds a LLB degree in Law.

Lior Sion
CTO

Lior Sion brings more than 15 years of technology research development at several successful startups and enterprises in the Web and Mobile fields, as well as a rich background in business development and web marketing. Combining technology, marketing and business, Lior is responsible for Clarizen’s long term strategy, 3rd party integrations and the Developers’ Community.

Lior joined Clarizen after spending several years managing R&D at IBM’s Sametime Instant Messaging lab. Prior to that Lior led the development and research teams at Flash Networks and Emblaze Systems, developing mobile browsing acceleration and optimization technologies as well as video streaming technologies. Between Emblaze and Flash Networks, Lior started an free local service platform that later became a leader in local reviews site in Israel. Lior keeps that service free for the benefit of the community.

Lior is strongly active in the open source community helping to extend and fix tools like Wordpress and Drupal globally and locally.
